International Surfing Day

ISD-Banner Today surfers unite all around the world to celebrate what they love to do most, Surfing. If you're wondering how you can celebrate International Surfing Day in Southern California, you may want to join this year's Surfrider event at the Huntington/Seal Beach and Newport Beach Chapters. The event includes a beach cleanup, surfboard and SUP demos and lessons, yoga, and a “tent world” highlighting a variety of local businesses that lend their continuous support to the Huntington/Seal Beach and Newport Beach Chapters. Following the afternoon beach session, Zimzala at the Shorebreak Hotel in Huntington Beach will host an ISD Happy Hour for the public to close out the day. Here are the full details:

About ISD: International Surfing Day is a worldwide celebration of the sport of surfing and an opportunity to give back to our coastal environments through various events organized by the Surfrider Foundation. Founded in 2005 by Surfrider Foundation and Surfing Magazine, International Surfing Day has gone from just a handful of local observances in the United States to more than 200 events in 30 countries worldwide.
