VAST TOUR 2014: Taiwan

Since 2010, we at VAST have made it our mission to join the efforts of fellow surf brands in doing our part to “grow the pond”. We began our surf camping trips up and down the coasts of our home base in Southern California then around the islands of Hawaii, meeting new friends and making life long memories. This time we are making our way to Taiwan with our surf camping trip, promoting and sponsoring the ASP Taiwan Open of Surfing, as well as, bringing surfers we’ve befriended over the years from Hawaii, Southern California, and South Africa to experience Taiwan’s land and ocean. Over a 9 day span, we will travel from Taipei, down the eastern coastline, surf Yilian, Taitung, and Kenting, before heading back north again and experiencing Kaohsiung and Taiwan, finally ending our trip back in Taipei. On this trip, we hope to meet more like-minded friends to share the beauty of Taiwan with us. We want to learn, bond and grow with surfers in Taiwan, share this experience with the world while inspiring appreciation for Taiwan’s beauty and surf potential. In return we hope to help Taiwan see their island’s precious coastlines from new perspectives. Come hang with us, surf with us, become inspired with us, as we experience and appreciate Taiwan!
